On January 31, 2020, against conference foe, Garrett, Brayden Bontrager became the seventh Lakeland High School Boys’ basketball player to score 1,000 points in his career.
Before the Garrett game, Brayden had scored 351 points as a freshman and 379 points as a sophomore! Through 13 contests of the 2019-2020 season, Brayden was able to get the remaining 270 points needed to hit 1,000. Last friday, Bontrager eclipsed 1,000 points by scoring 20 points against Garrett!
Brayden is the son of Delmar and Summer Bontrager!
On behalf of the Lakeland High School Athletic Department, we congratulate Brayden on scoring his 1000th career point against Garrett and awarded him with a commemorative game ball.
